I ran out of blue pencil when drawing this one. Wow - I forgot how much of a pain it is to clean up pencil work. I guess either stick to blue pencil or re-ink the whole thing on the WACOM. I did the curving inter-bubble in panel 4 in PS (with two elipse shapes) -- I think that works pretty well actually.
The title of this comic in the law school newspaper was "where the hell are the singing cats?" - which everyone knows is the immortal line Paul Newman yelled from the first David Letterman show on CBS. I didn't have a title and something nonsequitar seemed like a good idea. I've had various ideas for titles for this strip come and go this summer: "License to Law" (riff on License to Ill album) "Life Love and the Law" (seems like the title of a romantic comedy -- not sure if I could write that into this or not). I think I'm still looking for the title (well that and whether or not to actually write out a full chapter and than actually do the comics for it).
