Penny Arcade is still a really well known comic at the center of a media empire with hugely attended conventions and a whole bunch of other activities around gaming. I had a lot of fun drawing fan art for other webcomics. Looking back on them it’s a cool time capsule of the webcomics I was a fan of circa 2002. Here’s a few more I did back then.
Avalon by Josh Phillips ran until 2006.
Goats by Jon Rosenberg isn’t currently updating (I think) but Jon’s currently updating webcomic is Scenes From a Multiverse.
Basil Flint by Jodie Troutman was about an over-boiled detective. I don’t think it’s still on the web but John has done a lot of comics since then mostly collected at his main website, The Troutcave.
