April Fools Swap 2000

I swapped strips with Bob Roberds for the April Fools swap in 2000.  Below is my version of his strip Soap On A Rope.   UPDATE MARCH 2013: Not sure what happened to Bob’s version of Super Jr as that strip and its archives are long scattered from site overhauls.  I noticed that Bob has stopped updating Soap On A Rope as of 2009 — I haven’t been in touch so I’m not sure what he’s up to these days.

Nineteen Ninety Six

On the about page for the blog I describe my slash and burn strategy to websites (since websites existed).  My first web “presence” was a GEOCITIES site where the HTML was lovingly handcrafted and CSS was a foreign language I’d yet to mangle.  We spoke TABLES back then and we sounded pretty good for the times. Nineteen Ninety Five

Okay, some thoughts back on 1995… I got my first real job after graduating from law school; I moved from one coast to the other; I found an apartment and made new friends.  All a bit of catching up on my otherwise delayed embrace of adulthood I guess.
